Any lock is legal

The clinch interpretation coming out of the 2008 National Senior Tournament is that any hand or arm lock can be used as long as it does not disturb or move the defensive wrestler. This applies to both the Greco and Freestyle clinch.

In the Freestyle clinch the defensive wrestler must post a hand and the offensive wrestler gain dominant control before points are scored. All points are awarded from the freestyle clinch 1, 3, or 5 and as always not fall can occur from the freestyle clinch.
